HMCA Vice President Speaks to Jefferson County Commission Meeting

HMCA Vice President Cameron Colwell was invited by County Commissioner and HMCA Member Cara Keys to speak to the February 5, 2026 Jefferson County Commission Meeting about the HMCA’s Mission to restore and preserve the Halltown Memorial Chapel and the Halltown African-American Free School. Mr. Colwell also spoke about the upcoming February 21, 2026 Black History Month Celebration and the Dedication of the Restored Chapel that will include invited speakers and musical selections from Wind Gap Music, Shepherdstown, WV.
