Halltown African-American Free School Now Under a Permanent Roof

The Halltown Memorial Chapel Association is excited to announce that a generous private donation and the expertise of High Point Roofing have resulted in the installation of a new roof on the Halltown African-American Free School. The permanent roof will protect previous and future restoration activities for decades. And thanks to a National Park Service grant and the expertise of Gruber-Latimer Restoration, the Free School concrete and brick masonry has been restored. The Free School restoration is ongoing, so please check this page for updates.
